Mirrodin Besieged! Meh!

When I started back on Magic the gathering it was when Worldwake released for a couple of months. I really love it! The landfall, ally and man lands also not to mention JACE really made me fall in love with Magic all over again. Now in a few days time, Mirrodin Besieged will be released and I am not really liking the cards. I don't think there are any cards spoiled that got me really excited. It was all meh to me.

Fortunately its not THAT bad. There are a few cards that I think its not bad. Here are some of them.

With this card, Black as removal is going to be around for some time. White and Red's removal didn't get much love from WotC lately. I wonder why? Gone are the days where Terminate, Sword to plowshare roams freely.

Worship it!

With certain criteria or non at all, you can shuffle the Zenith card back in your library. Each colours have their own Zenith, to me only red and black's Zenith are worth playing.

Hero of Bladehold to me is the saving grace in MBS ( Mirrodin Besieged ). With 4 mana you get 3 creatures ( if you successfully declare attack ) whats not to like?


Did someone vomited on your sword?

Why green again? Green is getting soooo much love! The black side of the sword's ability isnt that great, discard a card < drop ten cards from library ( Sword of body and mind). I was really hoping for white and red.

Hello Macau!

Gonna head to Macau for sweet sweet egg tarts! Finally I get to know what language they speak in Macau. Wish me luck! I might discover a new civilization or something.

Seriously! Christina can pass off as 18 and Cher just don't look like the age that needs a hip replacement.


Fight!

When I first saw the trailer, $6.50 or $8.00 ( Depending on the day or whether did I bring my safra card ) flown out of my wallet. I mean Christina and Cher singing, dancing and spreading their legs ( Paying $6.50-$8.00 to watch a 64 years old woman doing a spread eagle? Yes please. ) just seals the deal.

So I caught the movie yesterday and I was like "oooo the lights, oooo the glamour aannnnndddd the predictable plot". The plot was so darn predictable even Elmo can do it. Hit it Elmo!

I really like Cher's opening number. She can sing, of course Christina too but Cher's voice sounds kind of like a guy but not a guy is just so much more alluring than Christina's lungs of steel.



To my disappointment Cher didn't spread her legs or dance ( much ) and no duet between Christina and Cher. Why oh why they didn't do it? It will be a hit no doubt! Overall I think the movie did pretty well with the choreography and the songs, plot wise meeehhh it could be better. I might enjoy the movie more if the guy sitting beside me didn't have a bad breath and the whole row of foreign talents behind me didn't talk like they are in the middle of a war or something. Sure I know you guys are concern whether Qi Qi is coming for the movie but does the whole movie theater have to know that? Pek chek! I hope you guys get a better experience than me!

Well, these few months I've been...playing lots of magic... I mean lots of em and I further prove that we can't win kelvin in games. He is like the 13th ranked magic player in singapore? Gone are the days where we laugh at his $9 pre-contstructed deck that uses shrine. I've tried entering a few magic event here and there, of course I lose in every possible way. Blah blah blah ok look at peektures now!

I am blogging? Its time to give offering to god. Mwhaha! Ahyah usual la pimples, fat and dark eye ring plus I am very laaazzzzyyyy so lazy that a sloth can scold me to pull up my socks. Argh!

Jasmine said I am fat.

Last night was a slap on my face. Jasmine pointed out that I look fat in the picture we took after gab's bday dinner. After months of people telling me that I had put on weight, I finally see myself in MK's small camera screen and Facebook ( MK posted it ) that I am by far not counting when I was in Pri 4 (baby fats) the fattest in my life.

Its a wake up call to the max.

I have to admit my metabolism rate has dropped, I don't burn 2 packs of maggie mee like when I was in Sec 3. Yes, age is catching up just like I caught derek using uPapa for his backaches.

Solution? I am going to train for this year's standchart marathon. I AM GOING TO WEAR THAT SINGLET BY THE END OF THIS YEAR DARN YOU!

In another news, after eons we finally going to have a chalet! A reunion dinner chalet, its a first for big group. We know each other for like at least 10 years, I guess we are one big family. We gonna wear something that represent tiger (year of the tiger) and we all gonna bite Gab coz he is an ox. Have some hay gabby. I am going to make them take a family potrait olden days style. Don't smile, stand straight and the eldest(Gab since CH in TAIWAN) sit down. Then I photoshop it black and white. Hee so exciting.
